THE TRADITION OF HOLY GRAVES


There is the laudable tradition in many places in Europe above all in German-speaking lands and in Eastern Europe of representations of Christ's holy grave erected lovingly in parish churches where the faithful "keep watch" and pray on Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
